Delivery times can vary based on your what shipping option you selected at check out and your exact location. The shipping estimates below will give you an idea of when you should expect your order.

Australian Standard
: Typically 2-7 business days. However, due to COVID-19, Australian orders may take up to 2 weeks.

Australian Express: Typically 1-2 business days. However, due to COVID-19, Australian orders may take up to a week.

New Zealand
 Standard: Typically 2-12 business days. However, due to COVID-19, NZ orders may take up to two weeks.

All other international customers: Typically 10-14 business days. However, due to COVID-19, international orders may take up to four weeks.

If you need to cancel your order, please email us at info@rainkoat.com as soon as possible.

The order can only be cancelled before it has been shipped and before our warehouse has started working with the order. After that, we cannot guarantee a cancellation.

When the order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. If you have requested a cancellation after the order has shipped, you must instead return it for a refund.

If available for your order, ‘Local Pick Up’ will be displayed as a shipping option at checkout.

The displayed date of availability is an estimate – you will receive a notification email when your item is available to pick up.

Please wait for this email before coming to the warehouse. In some cases, you may receive the notification email before the estimated date – not to worry, this means your order is available for pick-up sooner than expected.

When you come to the warehouse reception, please bring:
— Your government-issued photo identification

You don’t have to set up an account to shop with us, but we recommend that you do.

It is fully possible to check out as a guest, but if you register an account you can track your order, register returns and save information which will make it easier to check out next time you order with us. 

When you place an order on rainkoat.com, an order confirmation will be sent to your registered email address.

In the event that you have entered an incorrect email address, please contact our customer care team and we will send you the order details.

You must contact our customer care team to change your shipping address.
Unfortunately, you cannot update your shipping address yourself after the order has been placed.

All orders placed through our online store are shipped from our warehouse in Hobart, Tasmania.

We deliver anywhere in Australia and New Zealand. Our speedy warehouse team dispatches orders made before12pm AEST on the same day, whilst orders after this time are sent the next business day.

Returns

We think you’ll love your Rainkoat purchase, but if for any reason it’s not quite right– be that fit, colour or something else, we are happy to offer you a free, easy return within 14 days of delivery.

We’ll even provide you with a free pre-paid return label, just request a return or exchange by contacting us HERE

If the gift was bought from us online, you can return it within 14 days upon delivery.

We require the name of the person that bought the gift, and also that the item is in its original condition with all the tags still attached.

Rainkoat products are made of quality material and constructed to last for a long, long time.

In the unlikely event that you have an issue with a defect in material or workmanship within 12 months of purchase we’ll repair or replace it with a new one and cover the postage to ship it back out to you!

The warranty applies to products used under normal conditions and for the purpose intended and doesn’t apply to damage caused by normal wear and tear, or neglect.

If you purchase directly from us online we can just look up your details in our system, but if you order from one of our retailers be sure to keep your receipt as proof of purchase.

Just email us at info@rainkoat.com with your order details, description and photo of the fault or damage and we'll take it from there.

Please get in touch with our customer service team with your order details, and images of the fault so we can look into it for you under your warranty terms.

Unfortunately not. You'll need to head back to the stockist you purchased the item from with valid proof of purchase and they will assess this for you under their warranty terms. 

Sizing & Product Info

All our Rainkoat items have a waterproof high quality polyurethane shell and feature welded heat sealed seams so the wearer can stay extra dry!

Our Snowsuits contain a soft fleece lining and our Stripy Sailor jackets have a cotton stripe lining. The Explorer Jacket, Rain Pants and Overalls are unlined.

Our adult Rainkoat's are available in Australian standard sizes XS - XXL.

Our children’s range includes age sizes 0-1 up to 9-10. If you’d like to see measurements, we’ve made it easy with our perfect fit size chart that will guide you to your best size match. 

It’s easy! Just wipe down with a dry towel after each use or hang and allow to drip dry in a shady location if you prefer. For muddy items needing a bit more TLC, pop in the washing machine at a safe temperature of 30 degrees. Do not use the dyer please!

We restock as often as possible, but please note we do sell out of popular sizes and colours quite quickly.

If an item is sold out in your size, you can sign up to be notified once we have it in stock again.

Although we can’t reserve stock, we can send you an automatic email when the item is back in stock (first in best dressed)

For most items online, you will find the garment measurements for that specific item under the size guide button. Click on “size guide” above the ‘add to cart’ button on the product page to find the actual measurements - these can help you in order to choose the correct size.

We welcome you to contact our customer care team for specific sizing advice as well. 

We have a goal to continuously work towards reducing our carbon footprint and being as sustainable as possible in our business.

Some practices we currently use include eco-friendly packaging and delivery methods (our shipping materials are actually compostable and make yummy worm food).

We also use swing tags from non-plastic materials and encourage the wearer to be conscious too by handing down their Rainkoat garment once they have outgrown it. We even stitch in a special name label for the original and next owner!

We understand everyone is different, but with the right care you can continue to wear your Rainkoat garment again (and again, and again).

Fun and function are extremely important to us, so we’ve made sure our high-quality material and craftsmanship is designed to last. We encourage handing down to another excited wearer if the original wearer outgrows it.

Pre-orders

The estimated shipping date is noted on the product page and in the check-out process.

If you place an order with pre-order items and in-stock items, you will receive your order once the whole order can be fulfilled at one time (ie. Once the pre-ordered items are in stock).

Our regular return policy applies to pre-order items.

You will have 14 days from when you receive your item from your order to return any items from your order.

Items out of stock

If your size is sold out, you can signup to be "notified".  when we get a re-stock.

If the item/s you are looking for is completely out of stock you can contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

If you reach out to us, we will be able to tell you when and if we expect a re-stock or if our stockists could carry the item in stock.

Payment Methods

We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, Afterpay (AUD only), Apple Pay and Shop Pay.

If your order attempt was declined, this can often be due to your bank.

We suggest that you contact your bank or card-issuing company to ask if they have any kind of block on your card.

If you receive another error message, please contact our customer care team and we will do our best to assist you. 

If you have a gift card certificate, you can simply use it by entering your gift card code in “payment” section at checkout.
You will have a button called “Use Gift Card”, where you can enter your code.
